Home My WebLink AboutC2024-046 - 3/26/2024 - Approved Amendment #1 Finance & Procurement Date: February 19, 2024 Agreement #: 4558 - Uniformed Security Guard Services Contractor/Consultant: TriSec, LLC, dba Signal of Corpus Christi Current Amount: $1,482,669.34 I. Section 3, Compensation and Payment, of the Agreement is amended by increasing the amount $332,262.84; therefore, the revised total amount of the Agreement is $1,814,932.18 II. Attachment A, Scope of Work, section 1.11.D, entitled “Work Site and Conditions”, of the Agreement is deleted and replaced with Attachment A-1, which is attached and its contents incorporated by reference into the Agreement as if fully set out here in its entirety. Attachment A- 1 details the necessary additional hours for Services. III. A portion of Attachment B, Bid/Pricing Schedule, to the Agreement is superseded and replaced for only years 2 and 3 of the Agreement with Attachment B-1, which is attached and its content incorporated by reference into the Agreement as if fully set out here in its entirety. Attachment B- 1 details the expense resulting from the replacement of unarmed security guard services with armed security guard services and the additional hours added where necessary. For clarity, the parties agree that Group B, Item 2.1, of the Attachment B, Bid/Pricing Schedule, remains unchanged for years 2 and 3. IV. Section 4, Contract Administrator, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the existing information within the Contract Administrator’s contact information block and replacing it with the following information: “Rebecca Serna, Project Manager, Asset Management - Facilities, Phone: 361-826-3388, and Email: rebeccas@cctexas.com”. V. Section 16, Notice, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the City’s notification information within this section and replacing it (under the subheading “If to City”) with the following information: “City of Corpus Christi, Asset Management -Facilities, Attn: Rebecca Serna, Project Manager, 1201 Leopard St., Corpus Christi, TX, 78401”. VI. This Amendment is effective on February 16, 2024, subject to execution by the parties. La Retama Central library shall be assigned an Armed Security Guard. All other library locations shall be assigned Armed Security Guards and shall be responsible for continuously patrolling the building’s interior spaces, grounds and parking lots. Unarmed Security Guards will observe staff walking to their vehicles at closing. La Retama Central Library consists of two operating floors and a closed third floor. Net floor area in the building is about 55,000 square feet which consists primarily of public areas. Public restrooms are located on both floors. The building is serviced by two elevators, one passenger elevator and one freight elevator. 1.Ben F. McDonald Public Library, 14,420 square feet, houses nine Library employees and receives on average over 9,000 visitors a month. The Contractor must be expected to maintain the following schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9:45 am to 7:15 pm Thursday, Friday 8:45 am to 6:15 pm Saturday 10:45 am to 3:15 pm 2.Dr. Clotilde P. Garcia Public Library, 13,233 square feet, a joint facility with Kaffie Middle School, houses nine Library and two School employees, with over 12,000 visitors a month. The Contractor must be expected to maintain the following schedule: Monday through Friday 9:45 am to 8:15 pm Saturday 1:45 pm to 6:15 pm 3.Janet F. Harte Public Library, 19,900 square feet, a joint facility with the Flour Bluff High School houses nine Library and two School employees, with over 13,000 visitors a month. The Contractor must be expected to maintain the following schedule: Monday through Friday 9:45 am to 7:15 pm Saturday 9:45 am to 2:15 pm 4.Anita & W.T. Neyland Public Library, 20,000 square feet, houses 11 Library employees with over 11,000 visitors per month. The Contractor must be expected to maintain the following schedule: Monday and Tuesday 9:45 am to 6:15 pm Wednesday and Thursday 9:45 am to 7:15 pm Friday 9:45 am to 6:15 pm Saturday 9:45 am to 2:15 pm 5.Owen R. Hopkins Public Library, 12,000 square feet, houses nine Library employees and receives on average over 4,924 visitors per month.
