Motion authorizing execution of a five year lease in accordance with Request For
Proposal BI-0257-91, for copy equipment with Xerox Corporation, and authorizing
the Purchasing Agent to execute such security instruments, UCC statements and such
instruments as required by such lease and approved by the City Attorney. The
contract includes the lease of the equipment, full maintenance service, and all related
supplies except paper. Estimated annual expenditure: $242,100; estimated five-year
total: $1,210,500. The award, based on competitive sealed proposal procedures, is
for the most advantageous offer.
