Motion approving a supply agreement for approximately 1,375 tons of calcium oxide
in accordance with Bid Invitation No. BI-0097-92 with APG Lime Corp., New
Braunfels, Texas based on the low bid of $72,187.50. The term of the contract will
be twelve months with option to extend for up to an additional twelve months subject
to the approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his designee. This chemical
is used in the treatment of our water supply by the Water Department and funds
have been bugeted for FY 91-92.
